How to manage your following on Threads
Threads is a new microblogging platform from Meta that allows users to share their thoughts, photos, and videos with a select group of friends and family. If you’re new to Threads, you might not know how to follow or unfollow someone. Here’s a quick guide.
There are a few different ways to do this, and you’re free to go with whichever method suits you best.
Method 1: Follow or Unfollow Someone from Their Profile
- Tap the following button to follow them or the unfollow button to unfollow them. Open the Threads app and go to the “People” tab.
- Find the person you want to follow or unfollow.Tap on their name or profile picture.

- Open the Threads app and swipe left to view your friends’ stories.

- To access the option for this story,tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Tap “Follow” or “Unfollow” to unfollow them.
Method 3: Follow or Unfollow Someone from Your Chat
- Open the Threads app and start a chat with the person you want to follow or unfollow.
- click on the person’s name at the top of the chat.
- Tap the following button to follow them or the unfollow button to unfollow them.
The best method for following or unfollowing someone on Threads depends on your preference. If you know the person’s name or profile picture, you can follow or unfollow them from their profile. If you see their story, you can follow or unfollow them from their story. And if you’re already chatting with them, you can follow or unfollow them from your chat.
